Ferrari boss Frédéric Vasseur admitted the team still needs to work on the SF-23’s race pace, but is looking forward to a good performance in Canada.
Frederic Vasseur: “We go to Canada knowing that there is still room for improvement in the race pace of the SF-23. However, the innovations we introduced at the last round in Spain made it possible to make the car’s behavior more stable during the race in Barcelona.
Last year in Montreal, both of our riders performed very well. Carlos Sainz finished second and pressed the winner all the way to the finish. Charles Leclerc made his way through the pack after starting from the last row to finish fifth.
Ferrari has always been a big supporter in Canada and we hope to please the tifosi with a strong performance this weekend.”
