The Haas F1 riders had a good time in the second practice and are optimistic about the sequel…
Kevin Magnussen (14th): “It’s nice to be back in Canada. We spent a quiet Friday, without any problems. As usual, you need to analyze the telemetry and draw conclusions. Looking forward to tomorrow – due to the weather it could be quite interesting.
Mick Schumacher (15th): “Friday was fun. The Canadian fans are amazing – they supported us all day long.
The first training proved difficult, but in the second we survived everything. The car settings are very difficult, we’ll see how it affects my back at the end of the race, but overall it looks good.
On Friday the track was slippery, I don’t know if it’s normal – we’ll be able to compare next year, but I’m happy to be here and have this experience. I’m looking forward to tomorrow.”
