Kevin Magnussen: I like the European part of the season

Kevin Magnussen is optimistic about the Austrian Grand Prix – the second sprint event of the year…

Q: Last year the team scored points in all stages with a sprint, but it was not possible in Baku. What conclusions did you draw?
Kevin MagnussenA: I’m looking forward to the next sprint. I like weekends like this where there is always a lot going on and you feel a lot of pressure after the first practice. And even in that it is not easy, because you have to decide on the settings, find the right pace for qualifying. You could say it’s a tighter, faster weekend, which I’m really enjoying.

Q: Your best result at the Red Bull Ring is fifth place in 2018. What do you like about this track?
Kevin Magnussen: I don’t know why we always did well at Spielberg during my years with Haas, but it’s a fun job. There are tracks on the calendar where we just drive well. I hope we can continue this trend.

Q: Ahead of a series of double Grand Prix before the summer break. Are you worried about such a busy schedule?
Kevin Magnussen: I like the European part of the season, we play on tracks that are known to everyone, in a familiar environment. There is a special atmosphere on the European stages, I will try to have fun and get the best possible results.
