McLaren will showcase technical innovations at the upcoming Austrian Grand Prix. Team boss Andrea Stella hopes the car upgrades will allow him to improve and fight for better results.
Andrea Stella: “We used to perform well on the Austrian circuit most of the time. Six or seven corners, four of them fast, should help us to be competitive.
At the Grand Prix of Austria we bring the first major updates. And they are much more important to us than the fact that the track characteristics match the machine characteristics. Ultimately, these novelties are an important part that can revolutionize our form this season. This should not only be facilitated by the Austrian updates, but also by the updates that the team will bring to the upcoming races.
I am betting on new items that we will present in parts over the next three races. They should bring back a few tenths, which will have a significant impact on lap times.”
