This week, a consortium of investors acquired a 24% stake in Alpine’s team. Among the new co-owners of the team from Enstone was Hollywood actor Ryan Reynolds, who recently began filming the third part of the Deadpool franchise.
On the eve of the Austrian Grand Prix in Spielberg, team driver Esteban Okon shared the good news for himself that Reynolds had invited him to shoot.
“It’s fantastic! Esteban commented on Alpine’s new investors. – I was very lucky to talk to Ryan on Tuesday. We exchanged messages on WhatsApp and he invited me to London to film Deadpool. I will come for sure.
Ryan is very inspiring with his work, also outside the cinema. He is also a very talented businessman. As far as I know, his company didn’t have a single failed project. I think he and his team have become a very valuable asset to Alpine.
We know what results we are aiming for. We want to become a team that will fight for podiums and victories as soon as possible.”
