Williams cars weren’t fast enough to compete for points in Montreal…
Alex Albon (13th): “Even before the start of the weekend, we knew that this track was not suitable for our car. Qualifying was successful, but already in the first laps it became clear that it was not going to be easy for us.
13th place is our maximum for today, to be honest I’m happy with this result. I hope the updates to the car will allow us to achieve more in the next races.”
Nicholas Latific (16th): “All in all it was a fantastic weekend as it was my first home race in Formula 1. I felt great support from family, friends and fans in the stands.
Unfortunately our car didn’t have enough speed with full or empty tanks this weekend. We have two weeks to resolve this for Silverstone. Whatever the outcome, I will remember this weekend for a long time.”
