Bottas garage supplemented with Mercedes-AMG ONE

Valtteri Bottas boasted that he had finally become the owner of an impressive car that would surely remind him of the most glorious period of his career, when the Finn drove for the Mercedes team, regularly climbing the podium and taking 10 wins.

We are talking about the hypercar Mercedes-AMG ONE, which was supposed to come in a limited edition of 275 units, and one of them went to the racer, who now plays for Alfa Romeo.

Judging by the brief comment that Valtteri accompanied several photos of the new acquisition, the car has had a long wait.

“The wait was worth it,” Bottas said on social media. Perhaps he is referring to the fact that for some reason the start of production of this monster was repeatedly postponed to a later date.

The official price of such a car is 2.3 million euros. The hypercar is equipped with a hybrid power plant, which is in many ways reminiscent of that of Formula 1 cars: it is based on a 1.6-liter V6 turbo engine that develops around 574 horsepower. But the total power of the power plant, together with the hybrid part, the design of which includes 4 electric motors performing various functions, exceeds 1000 horsepower, which allows the car to accelerate to 100 km / h in 2.9 seconds and reach its maximum speed 352 km/h

Lewis Hamilton took part in the process of refining ONE, and when production finally started, he bought two of these cars – one for his collection and the other he gave to his father.

Among the owners of a rare hypercar is another former partner of seven-time world champion Nico Rosberg. David Coulthard also has such cars and, for example, Alicia Keys, the star of the American pop scene, the owner of 15 Grammy awards.
