Mick Schumacher tests driving a McLaren MCL35M

Mick Schumacher did a private test yesterday at the Portimão circuit in Portugal, driving the McLaren MCL35M, the 2021 car. The fact is that, in accordance with the agreements between Mercedes and McLaren, Mick is also regarded as a reserve driver for the team from Woking.

Commenting on the first experience of such a partnership with the son of a seven-time world champion, the team also stressed that young mechanics and engineers who had recently joined McLaren were training and gaining experience in these tests.
