Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc received a 10-position penalty at the Formula 1 Grand Prix of Canada in Montreal and will start from the back row of the grid.
Previously, Leclerc lost 10 positions for fitting his third electronic control unit of the season to his car, although riders across the championship were only allowed to use two units.
However, on Leclair’s car, the power unit was completely replaced for the second time this weekend (for the fourth time this season), following which the Monegasque received a new sanction.
Leclerc starts the race from the last row of the starting peloton with the Japanese Yuki Tsunoda (Alpha Tauri), who also received a fourth power plant.
