On Friday at Silverstone, the powerplant elements were changed on five riders’ machines.
Red Bull Racing has installed new combustion engines, turbines, MGU-H and MGU-K engine generators and exhaust systems on the Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez cars.
Mercedes driver George Russell and AlphaTauri driver Nick de Vries received new combustion engines, turbines, MGU-H and MGU-K engine generators and exhaust systems.
Haas modified the internal combustion engine, turbine, MGU-H engine generator and exhaust system of Nico Hulkenberg’s car.
All substitutions were made within the limits allowed by the regulations, so none of the riders were fined.
In addition, Sergio Perez and Nico Hulkenberg received new gearbox elements. These replacements were also carried out within the limits allowed by the regulations.
