In practice at Silverstone, Oscar Piastri was faster than his more experienced partner, but Lando Norris assured that he and the team would try to solve the problems that prevented him on Friday.
Oscar Pistri (9th): “I would say the day was quite productive. We still need to keep working on the car to find the optimal settings, but I think overall we did pretty well.
It is necessary to understand, thanks to which it will be possible to add tomorrow. The weather will play a big part so let’s see what we can achieve on Saturday, but Friday at least went well and was the first working day with the upgraded machine.
Lando Norris (14th): “The day was not the easiest, there were problems with the balance of the car, so I was not confident. Not the best start to the weekend, but we still have time to wrap things up.
We are probably not yet at the same level as in Austria, but we know the car is capable of higher speeds.”
