Aston Martin is happy with Friday’s results, but expects the weather to get worse on Saturday…
Lance walk (6th): “There is no better place in the world than Silverstone! In the first practice we adjusted the settings and in the second practice the car improved noticeably.
We still need to work on a few points, but the car is fast, so I’m positive. Let’s see what tomorrow brings – the forecast promises cooler weather and rain. Qualifying can be interesting!”
Fernando Alonso (10th): “It’s nice to be back at Silverstone and racing across the road from our base. When you drive on this track, you always feel an adrenaline rush. The wind made it a bit more difficult today, but the car behaved well.
Over the course of two training sessions, we have tried several solutions, in the evening we will evaluate their effectiveness. Looks like the weather could change tomorrow – let’s see what lies ahead.”
