Most teams prepare new items for each stage, but Haas and Williams decided to do things differently – and will be introducing extensive updates soon…
Gunther Steiner, Head of Haas F1: “We were a step behind as we wanted to do some more wind tunnel testing, but now that all the new items are in production, our goal is to bring them to the Hungarian podium. We are trying to improve the efficiency of the machine, hope to take a big step forward. Hope you notice the difference.
This will be the last update of the car for the current season, after that we will start working on the car before 2023.
Dave RobsonWilliams Chief Race Engineer: “A comprehensive wind tunnel car upgrade has gone into production. In the coming days it will become clear at which Grand Prix we will show these new items.
We’ve seriously updated the car, from the front wing to the rear. The result is a new concept that looks different from today’s car.
