Alex Albon (8th): “From a strategic point of view, the safety car took off at the perfect time for us, although we didn’t intend to pit on this lap.
A great weekend, strangely eighth place is the worst result we could get today, but this just shows how fast we were.
At the start I was a little behind, but gradually I got involved in the race. Half way through the distance we were still riding Medium, I had a good pace, I felt comfortable.
We had planned a very long first stint, so when the safety car came out I felt that success was close. Ferrari was unlucky with the compounds they used.”
Logan Sargent (11th): “I’m happy with how the last two weekends went. I’m making progress, I’m feeling more and more comfortable behind the wheel, I’m starting to drive as I need. Gradually everything is getting better.
Today the car was fine, this is our best weekend so far in terms of speed. A bit of bad luck when the safety car went through after my pit stop, but a good day nonetheless. Alex earned points for the team, which speaks to our competitiveness.”
