Schwartzman has no plans to stop racing for the sake of music

Ferrari reserve driver Robert Schwartzman, who also drives for AF Corse this year in the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup touring car series, attracted attention last weekend, but not with sporting achievements.

We said that Robert recorded his first single Active, and on YouTube alone the number of views is in the thousands, and in fact the audience mainly listens to music on other streaming services. The public generally reacted quite positively to artist Shwartzy’s debut.

But the question arises, how to see Schwartzman’s work in the genre that Apple Music defines as hip-hop/rap: is it just a hobby or is it something more? After all, one feels that the person has made considerable effort and recorded in the studio, achieving a professional level of sound.

The answer came from Robert himself: “The song Active is out and I want to thank everyone for the positive response and support. I’ve been making music for a while now, although some of you were surprised, some were amazed, but now I’ll tell you in more detail how and why I decided to release this song.

I have always loved music and have always shared this passion with my father. I still remember how we listened to many different songs during our travels on the European roads from one race to another.

After he was gone, I felt I wanted to do something that would connect me with him. Creativity helped me cope with sadness, I wanted to turn my emotions into something positive! In my opinion, we only become psychologically stronger when we express our emotions.

This is how the number Active was born. It’s about movement, about the fact that in special life situations or circumstances, when it seems like you’re stuck, you have to move forward and not stand still. I wanted something uplifting, not sad.

To anyone interested, I answer: I’m not going to stop racing at all for the sake of a musical career. I really like racing! I have devoted my whole life to racing and still do, but I also enjoy many other things, including music!
