In Austria and at Silverstone, the McLaren team impressed with their new products and achieved the best result of the season, and the next updates will be in Hungary.
Andrea Stella, team principal: “For Hungary we also have some new products that help improve the race pace. Both drivers, Oscar and Lando, will receive them. Like any other team, we continue to prepare updates for the next races.
By revising the design of the car, we immediately made it more efficient, including aerodynamics. And when you see that the project is a success, hit the “Start” button and move on.
We look forward to Hungary to better assess the balance of power. The Hungaroring doesn’t have the speeds of Silverstone, there are more medium and slow corners and it can get very hot, so we’re going to check it out.”
