Lamborghini has unveiled the new SC63 car for next season’s Hypercar World Endurance Championship.
In 2024, as part of the FIA WEC World Championship, Lamborghini will enter two teams into the official Iron Lynx team, which will start the Le Mans 24-hour marathon, among other things. Lamborghini SC63 will also be presented in the American series IMSA.
The Lamborghini SC63 will be driven in the FIA WEC by the company’s factory drivers – Daniil Kvyat, Roman Grosjean, Andrea Caldarelli and Mirko Bortolotti. The names of two more pilots will be announced later.
The new SC63 is equipped with a new 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine and a standard hybrid system. The chassis was developed by Ligier and the design agency Centro Stile, part of Lamborghini, was responsible for the appearance. The style of the novelty resembles a Lamborghini Revuelto road car.
Testing of the SC63 will begin next month. Daniil Kvyat, among others, will participate.
