Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz summed up the results of the Canadian Grand Prix. The Spaniard finished second, behind Max Verstappen (Red Bull).
– I pushed him to the limit. I left no space when I had to brake. I used the battery to the limit. I tried everything to overtake Verstappen. But today, I didn’t have the rhythm to get closer and move forward. It was good that we were fast, but it took a little longer to pass him. We were close to victory. Let’s think positive and keep trying,” Sainz said.
Sainz is in 5th place in the driver standings.
