Red Bull expects to play 0.2 seconds in Hungary

Red Bull Racing drivers Max Verstappen and Sergio Pérez have won all of the past races this season, but the team does not intend to stop there.

After winning Silverstone, Max Verstappen spoke of the need to improve the car in many areas, including making the RB19 more efficient in “slow, medium and fast corners”. Given the team’s advantage over rivals, the words of the reigning world champion could be taken as a joke, but Max spoke in all seriousness and announced the arrival of technical innovations on the next stage in Hungary.

As Germany’s Auto Motor und Sport has discovered, the Budapest Red Bull Racing car will receive visible updates to the aerodynamic body kit and side pontoons. According to the team’s engineers, the novelties should allow you to play for about 0.2 seconds per round.

The publication adds that Red Bull Racing plans to refine the car even after the summer break, as the regulations will not change much in 2024 and many of the technical solutions presented at the end of 2023 could be used in the car of the next season.
