Formula 3 team PHM Racing by Charouz has announced roster changes. From the Hungarian stage until the end of the season, 18-year-old Woohyun Shin will perform for her. The South Korean driver replaces Mackenzie Cresswell, who raced for the team at Spielberg and Silverstone.
“I am delighted to spend the last three races of the Formula 3 season with PHM Racing,” said Woohyun Shin. – I will gain valuable experience by studying European circuits and getting used to the car. I am grateful to the team for the opportunity and will do my best in each of the three weekends.”
Woohyun Shin made his Formula 1 debut last year with a season in British Formula 4 and Formula 4 UAE. In 2023, he competed in the Formula Regional Middle Eastern Championship for the Prema team (his best result was second at the Yas Marina circuit) and in British Formula 3, where his best result remains fourth.
