Hulkenberg: It will still be hot on the Hungaroring

Prior to the Hungarian Grand Prix, Nico Hulkenberg is looking forward to the remainder of the season with positive feelings…

Question: Hungary has an interesting combination of the old town, positive atmosphere and a unique track, more like a go-kart track. Do you like racing there?
Nico Hulkenberg: Yes very much. Normally this is the last race before the summer break, but this year it’s a little different – the break starts after the Spa stage, but it will still be hot at the Hungaroring.

The Hungarian circuit demands a lot of physical condition, in the middle sector one corner follows another – you have to find a good rhythm there.

Q: It is believed that the level of downforce at the Hungaroring is the same as in Monaco. Gunther Steiner stated that you and Kevin are actively involved in solving VF-23’s problems. Are you excited about the opportunity to help the team?
Nico Hulkenberg: We always work very hard together with the team on the weak points of the VF-23. Many problems can only be solved through close cooperation. And we are confident that we can handle them.

Question Before the third of the four races in July. There will be a summer break after the next Grand Prix, are you already planning the second half of the season?
Nico Hulkenberg: I like that the schedule is getting more intense. You get into a good rhythm, I like the period in which we can work intensively.
