At the Hungarian Grand Prix, Red Bull Racing will bring technical innovations. Team drivers Max Verstappen and Sergio Pérez are counting on them to continue their successful streak and claim their eleventh win of the season.
Max Verstappen: “The race in Hungary is usually interesting. Last year the approaching rain and low temperatures made it difficult to make the right tire decisions, but the team remained calm and did everything right.
This weekend we have several new products. I hope they will work as expected and you can improve in the upcoming races. Let’s see what shape we will be in on the track, where there are many slow corners and the car needs to be set up for low downforce.
Hungary has a great track to drive and a very technical track. This is one of those circuits I look forward to visiting.”
Sergio Perez: “The race in Hungary is very important for me because I want to be competitive all weekend. I know I went back a few times in qualifying this year so this time it’s my job to have a good Saturday because the pace of our great car allows us to get on the podium every weekend . I came to base in Milton Keynes and worked hard with the team to improve.
Last weekend I drove a Formula 1 car! I had a lot of fun in Madrid during the demo races, demonstrating Red Bull’s capabilities on the streets of the capital. I love that the team is constantly promoting motorsport to new audiences around the world.”
