Last week, AlphaTauri decided to end the collaboration with Nick de Vries and invite Daniel Ricciardo to take his place. Today the Dutch rider commented on his dismissal from the team.
“A message from me”, Nick de Vries wrote on social media. – After recent events, I have decided not to use social networks for a while, and I will continue to do so.
I want to thank Red Bull and Scuderia AlphaTauri for making this dream come true. Of course it is a pity that the opportunity in Formula 1, which I have dreamed of for so long, ended prematurely, but life is not a destination, but a journey, so sometimes there are bad roads on the way to the goal.
I am grateful for our privileged lives and proud of the journey I am on with my family. It’s just another experience and we’ll move on to the next chapter.
