Forbes has published an assessment of the cost of each Formula 1 team. According to the publication, the average team value is now $1.8 billion, which is 276% more than in 2019.
This increase in costs is largely due to the introduction of budget constraints – until 2021, teams could spend up to 400 million a year and these costs were difficult to recoup. Now, after budget cuts, the teams make about $600 million a year in profits before taxes and other mandatory deductions.
The Ferrari team is the most valued, valued at nearly $4 billion. The cheapest is Williams – 725 million dollars.
