If the fans go to the Hungaroring from Budapest, and they are in the majority, then most likely they will use the M3 highway, and if they come from the Czech Republic and Slovakia, for example, then along the E71. And on the M3, literally 7 km from the autodrome and only about 3 from the junction with the E71, a gas station of the Polish company Orlen, a sponsor of AlphaTauri, has recently opened.
That is why the team, together with its partners, decided to attract the public’s attention with a curious action: since yesterday, an AT02 car of the 2021 model has been parked on the territory of the gas station and everyone can take a picture with it.
“If you’re going to the Hungarian Grand Prix, don’t forget to stop and snap a picture of our AT02, which is on display at the new Orlen petrol station at Hungaroring this week!”
By the way, Yuki Tsunoda has already done it, judging by the photo. Although, presumably, if AlphaTauri had entrusted this mission to Daniel Ricciardo, who will drive the Italian team’s car for the first time this weekend, the fan response would have been even more positive.
