Lando Norris’ car suffered engine problems during qualifying for the Canadian Grand Prix, so the power plant was replaced before the start of the race. McLaren boss Andreas Seidl is hopeful that the engine can be repaired and that Lando will avoid penalties in the future for losing positions at the start for replacing the power plant.
“In the second part of qualifying, Lando’s car had sensor problems leading to power loss and ignition failures,” quoted Race fans Andreas Seidl. – We decided to change the power plant, and on Sunday morning we put in the old – from the one we had already used before.
We expect the power plant to be restored. At the moment we see no signs that anything could stop us from spending the season with three legal power plants.
