Hamilton climbed the Petronas Towers in Malaysia for the first time

Lewis Hamilton returned to London, but made a stop on the way from Australia in Malaysia’s capital Kuala Lumpur, where he visited the headquarters of oil and gas company Petronas, the title sponsor of the Mercedes team.

There, of course, he was waiting for a meeting with enthusiastic local fans, and the seven-time world champion did not deny himself the pleasure of making a short video about what it was like. And it was quite noisy!

Then Lewis went to the observation deck of the Twin Towers, which are called Petronas Towers. This impressive structure, 452 meters high, was built in 1998, each of the towers has 88 floors and only two buildings, considered to be among the tallest skyscrapers in the world, have 32,000 windows.

From the height of these towers, Lewis enjoyed the panorama that opened up and shared several photos on social networks.

Oddly enough, but for the entire time he played for Mercedes, Hamilton never visited the Petronas headquarters, leaving it to his teammates. For example, Valtteri Bottas not only visited the Malaysian capital more than once, but also took part in the traditional charity run organized with the participation of Petronas.

“After ten years working with Petronas, this is my first time going to the top floor of the company’s headquarters,” Lewis shared on social media. – Kuala Lumpur is a very beautiful city, and the people here are great too. If you’ve never been here, you definitely should!”
