Swede Felix Rosenquist is playing for McLaren in Indycar for a second year and will continue his career in the British team – today the parties announced the signing of a multi-year deal, but have not yet decided on the series.
McLaren Racing is currently building a Formula E team and plans to expand the Arrow McLaren SP Indycar team to three cars. Felix will be competing in one of these – and in each of them he has already raced.
Felix Rosenquist: “I am very happy to stay with McLaren in 2023 and beyond. Next season the team will come to Formula E, which will give me extra opportunities in the US and Europe. I will be announcing my plans in the coming weeks and I am looking forward to it.”
Zach Brown, CEO of McLaren Racing: “I am delighted to continue working with Felix. He is a fantastic racer with a wealth of experience in different racing cars. It was important for us to keep his talent in the McLaren Racing family as we complete our 2023 roster.”
