Norris: I am motivated by the love of racing

McLaren started this season in vain, but managed to turn the tide. If in the first eight races the team earned 17 points, then in the last four – 86.

Lando Norris recently said he even thought about changing teams at one point, but the hard work and progress made is encouraging.

Lando Norris: “I am very happy that we were able to improve. Frankly, the past seasons have not been successful – both in terms of the work of the team and the equipment of our base. Outwardly, she looks very beautiful, but her equipment was inferior to that of other teams.

But we are working on it, a new wind tunnel, a new simulator will allow us to achieve more – we are now moving towards what we should have done many years ago.

I have no problems with motivation. I like my job, I like driving for McLaren. The future is too far away, what’s the point of talking about it?

I am motivated by love for what I do. I love racing since my childhood, that’s why I do what I do. I can’t imagine doing anything else, going to the office every day. I want to stay in Formula 1 and do what I love. That’s enough to keep you motivated.”
