Late last night along Österalle, a street near the center of Copenhagen, a crowd gathered to revisit the demonstration performances of Red Bull racers, from stunt bikers to drift masters and ex-Formula 1 driver David Coulthard.
“Again” – because the inhabitants of the capital of Denmark are not surprised by such race shows, they were held here quite regularly in previous years, but they invariably aroused great interest.
So it was this time. All participants of the racing festival delighted local residents and tourists, demonstrated their art and the capabilities of their equipment. Overall it was fun, interesting and noisy! Of course, many people have specifically noticed the sound of the naturally aspirated V8 engine installed in the RB7, a 2011 car with David Coulthard driving donuts smoking rubber. The weather did not disappoint either.
As one of the witnesses to Saturday’s events noted: “Yesterday I saw and heard a Formula 1 car in real life for the first time. This is the sound, I’ll report it to you!”
