In Zandvoort they joke about Max Verstappen

The organizers of the Dutch Grand Prix shared on their pages in social networks a playful photo, which in their own way reminded of two funny episodes that took place after the races in Hungary and Belgium.

However, they are only partly funny: the point is that in both cases, after Max Verstappen’s victories, very valuable trophies that he won at the Hungaroring and Spa were damaged.

In the first case, due to the careless actions of Lando Norris, a porcelain cup was broken into pieces, on which Hungarian masters of artistic ceramics worked for weeks. However, Herendi Porcelan promised to make a copy at the end of September that would no longer be distinguishable from the original.

Then, after Red Bull Racing’s double win at Spa, the team celebrated so loudly that they even trampled on the trophy that was due them for another success in the Constructors’ Championship.

“Oh, they broke the cup again!” exclaimed Max. However, they say the damage was not catastrophic this time and the trophy was immediately restored.

So on the eve of the home race of the two-time world champion in Zandvoort, they made a nice joke about him by sharing a funny photo with the following caption: “Let’s break records, not cups! ”

In the photo we see a trophy being received by the winner of the race, but tightly wrapped in a special packaging film with air bubbles. So he will really be healthier!
