Bottas finished 20th in the Colorado bike race

Valtteri Bottas reported on his results in the tough cycling race SBT GRVL, which took place over very rough terrain in the US state of Colorado.

The distance, as reported on the organizers’ website, is “about 100 miles”, which is more than 160 km, moreover, the difference in altitude over the distance is about 1800 m. In general, this is quite a test that only a trained person can overcome, but No wonder Valtteri spent almost his entire August holiday in the saddle of a bicycle.

“I did a 100 mile gravel bike race yesterday and by the end of the distance my muscles were already very cramped,” said the Finn on his social media pages. – Finished 20th out of 1000 participants. It was fun in its own way, sometimes you had to get over yourself, but then you get a chance to look at life with a fresh eye.

How difficult it was for Valtteri is eloquently shown in this shot after the finish of the cycling race.

And Bottas’ girlfriend, the Australian professional cyclist Tiffany Cromwell, set herself an even more difficult task, but coped with it with honors: she took 2nd place among the participants in the race of 142 miles (almost 230 km), which took 7 hours lasted.
