Bruno Famin: A new start awaits us in Zandvoort

In Zandvoort, Bruno Famen will lead the Alpine team for the first time this season…

Q: Is the team looking forward to the start of the second part of the season? Bruno Family: I’m sure everyone on the team enjoyed the summer break during such a busy season. Of course, the weeks before the break were not easy for all employees. But now it is important not to let our heads down, to work together for progress in all areas and to strive that the results on the track match our ambitions.

The team’s strategy and goals have not changed, only some employees have left, which was announced before the break. A new start awaits us in Zandvoort, I’m sure everyone in the team is ready for this challenge.

Question: What are the expectations of the team for the next phase?
Bruno Family: We don’t mention numbers or places. Although the results this season have not met expectations, we must find a solution to quickly rectify the situation. Esteban’s podium in Monaco and Pierre’s third place in the sprint at Spa showed what we can achieve. You should use them as a source of motivation to repeat such results.

All team members will continue to work hard in all areas. We still have ten races to go to change the situation for the better this season, we will do everything we can to achieve this.

Q: What can you say about the circuit in Zandvoort?
Bruno Family: This is a unique circuit, both the riders and the team like it. In the past, the team performed successfully in Zandvoort – and we want to repeat that.

In addition to Formula 1, there will also be Formula 2 this weekend. We are happy to support Jack Duane and Victor Martins. I hope they can continue their rise to championship leadership. This is an exciting time for the Alpine Academy riders who remain an integral part of our motorsport project.
