Team Lineups 2024: Contracts and Rumors

Red Bull races

Max Verstappen’s contract runs until the end of 2028. Sergio Pérez’s agreement implies a performance for Red Bull Racing in 2024. And although the Mexican’s results in the first half of the season raised questions, the team management unanimously assures that Sergio will remain Verstappen’s partner .

Mercedes

George Russell has a multi-year contract with Mercedes – the British driver will continue to drive for the team from Brackley.

Lewis Hamilton’s contract with Mercedes expires at the end of 2023. Both Lewis himself and team leader Toto Wolff say they will continue to work together throughout the season. According to the latest data, an agreement in principle has been reached and the lawyers are yet to agree on the formal details. But there is still no official confirmation of Hamilton’s contract with Mercedes.

Aston Martin

Fernando Alonso has a multi-year contract with Aston Martin, valid until the end of 2024.

The terms of Lance Stroll’s contract with his father’s team were never disclosed. In recent years it was believed that Stroll’s place was not in danger, but this year there are rumors in the paddock that Lance himself could decide to retire at the end of the season.

Ferrari

The contracts of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz have been calculated until the end of 2024. The composition of Ferrari will not change next season.

AlphaTauri
