Alfa Romeo is ninth in the constructors’ championship for the Dutch Grand Prix. At Zandvoort, Valtteri Bottas said the team revised their targets for the season during the summer break and will now focus on finishing seventh.
Valtteri Bottas: “The summer holidays were great – I did a lot, saw a lot, visited new places, met new people. I took part in a cycling race, in which I covered a hundred kilometers. That’s how I tested myself, and I like it, and now I’ve come to Zandvoort rested.
After the first half of the season, we had to rethink our goals. Realistically, we can count on seventh place in the Constructors’ Championship – and our job is to win it at the end of the season.
But at the same time it is important that the development of the car for next year does not suffer. We still have long-term goals.”
