Dutch driver “Red Bull” Max Verstappen set the fastest time in the first free practice of the Formula 1 Dutch Grand Prix.
The two-time champion set the fastest lap time – 1 minute 11.852 seconds. The second was Fernando Alonso of Aston Martin (+0.278), completes the top three Lewis Hamilton (“Mercedes”, +0.373).
Ferrari’s reserve driver, Russian Robert Schwartzman, took part in the first tests, replacing Spaniard Carlos Sainz. He takes 19th place.
The second training will take place later on Friday. The race will take place on August 27.
