The Briton’s best lap time is 1 minute 11.330 seconds. Red Bull’s Max Verstappen (+0.023) finished second, Alex Albon (Williams, +0.269) completed the top three.
The third practice and qualifying will take place on Saturday. The Dutch Grand Prix will take place on Sunday 27 August.
