Ricciardo to miss Formula 1 Dutch Grand Prix with broken arm, replaced by Lawson

Alpha Tauri Pilot Daniel Ricardo will not be able to speak at the Dutch Grand Prix due to a broken arm received during the second free practice, according to the Formula 1 team’s website.

Ricciardo had an accident on Friday, the Australian’s car crashed into the fence at the third corner.

“The X-ray confirmed that Riccardo had a fractured metacarpal bone in his left hand. The injury will prevent him from continuing, so Daniel will be replaced by reserve driver Liam Lawson, the statement said.

The third practice and qualifying for the Dutch Grand Prix will take place on Saturday, the race on Sunday.
