30 minutes left: commentary by Liam Lawson

Liam Lawson made his Formula 1 debut at Zandvoort as a replacement for the injured Daniel Ricciardo and hopes to reach the finish…

Liam Lawson: “My weekend was very eventful. Friday started as usual, I came to the circuit as a reserve driver and just went to watch the work of the teams, try to digest all the necessary information, and now I am one of those who will have to start in this Grand Prix. It’s absolutely incredible!

Zandvoort is a very difficult track, it’s really hard to pilot here, especially for a beginner, especially in such conditions. But I’m glad I can handle everything so far. I hope I can avoid problems and drive a normal Grand Prix. I have a long race ahead of me, counting 72 laps, and it is not yet clear under what conditions it will take place. So my goal is just to get to the finish.”
