Before the last round of the Formula 3 season, the Campos Racing team announced a change in the composition: at Monza, instead of Hugh Barter, 18-year-old Joshua Dufek will be behind the wheel.
This will be his debut in Formula 3 for the Swiss driver. This season Joshua has competed in the Middle East Formula Regional, where he won the podium twice, and in the European Formula Regional, where he took pole position and after twelve races, is ninth in the individual ranking.
Joshua Dufek: “I am very happy and grateful to Campos Racing and PPM for this opportunity. I can’t wait to get started with a new team and learn as much as I can.
I only have experience in Formula Regional, so Monza will be something of a cold water jump, but after a long summer break I’m happy to be back on track. It will be great to feel the power and speed of a Formula 3 car.”
