Video: movie trailer of Enzo Ferrari

Last year, shooting began in Italy for a full-length feature film about the life of Enzo Ferrari, the founder of the company of the same name. The project was directed by Michael Mann, and the role of Enzo Ferrari was entrusted to Adam Driver.

Laura, Ferrari’s wife, was played by Penelope Cruz, and Shailene Woodley played his girlfriend Lena Lardy. Other actors include Jack O’Connell as Peter Collins and Patrick Dempsey as Piero Taruffi.

The shooting of the picture under the laconic name “Ferrari” has ended, and the film will be released in wide release at the end of December. The first trailer for the film was released today.

In the description of the trailer, the authors reveal some details of the plot: “Summer 1957. Behind the scenes of spectacular events in Formula 1, Enzo Ferrari is in crisis. The company, founded from scratch ten years ago by him and his wife Laura, is in danger of going bankrupt. Their rocky marriage was shattered a year earlier by the loss of their son Dino. At the same time, Ferrari tries to recognize his son Piero from Lina Lardy.

Meanwhile, the drivers’ passion for victory drives them to the brink as they embark on the treacherous Mille Miglia race on the roads of Italy.”
