Ferrari driver Sainz became best in second practice at Italian Grand Prix, Verstappen posted fifth fastest time

Ferrari driver carlos sainz set the fastest time in the second free practice of the Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix.

The Spaniard’s best lap time is 1 minute 21.355 seconds. Second was Lando Norris (McLaren, 0.019 seconds), followed by Sergio Perez (Red Bull, +0.185).

Defending world champion and leader of the drivers’ standings, Max Verstappen of the Netherlands (Red Bull), was fifth, 0.276 seconds behind Sainz.

The third practice and qualifying on the Monza track will take place on Saturday. The Italian Grand Prix will take place on Sunday.
