At Monza, Alex Albon repeated his best result of the season, finishing seventh…
Alex Albon (7th): “It was a tough race, but I’m proud of it. I’m sure Lando didn’t really enjoy it, but I did like it.
We went into today knowing that the race will be difficult and long with high tire loads. We had hoped the car would be a little faster. Four laps after the start it became clear that the speed was not enough. But in the end I was able to keep everyone behind me.
We ourselves created difficulties by riding the race on rolled Medium and Hard. I wouldn’t want to repeat this experience, but I am very happy with the result.
It is very nice to score points in two races in a row, compared to the start of the season the team has made great progress. I don’t think the next races will be easy for us, so let’s enjoy these successes.”
Logan Sargent (13th): “Tough race. We tried to make the one pit stop strategy work after an early tire change to Hard, but the segment was too long. I could hardly check the condition of the tires, the car suffered from oversteer. I hope the car will be faster in the coming races.”
