Ferrari team boss Frederic Vasseur believes that next year all the problems of today’s car will be solved…
Frederic Wasser: “To make progress, you have to take two steps. The first is to understand your weaknesses, the second is to find an opportunity to correct them. Now we have a very clear idea of where we are inferior to rivals, and we are working to find solutions to add more before the end of the season. Given the tight calendar, this is not an easy task, but all problems should be solved by next season.
I don’t know if we can reach Red Bull’s level, but that’s not the point. The best way to get what you want is to be good at your job. Try to improve yourself, the car, add everything, then results will come.
I’m not sure what exactly our engineers are working on in the wind tunnel, but it’s important that we focus on ourselves right now. instead of trying to constantly compare yourself to others – at least during development. And next year it will be a completely different story.”
