Andretti Autosport, whose teams compete in IndyCar, Indy NXT, IMSA SportsCar Championship, Extreme E, Formula E and the Australian Supercar Series, has been renamed Andretti Global.
Earlier this year, Andretti Global together with GM/Cadillac applied to compete in Formula 1. The reason for the rebranding is the desire to unite all of the company’s assets under one name. As part of the new name, the Andretti Autosport logo has also been replaced by the new Andretti Global logo.
Michael Andretti: “I am proud of Andretti Autosport’s achievements over the years and all the memories of special moments. I am proud to have been part of that, but at the same time I look forward to the future. We continue to expand and build a global racing structure. Our goal is to become part of the culture of fans, teams and partners.
The rebrand is an important milestone for our team, but we’re just getting started. We are determined to succeed and we are convinced that great things are ahead of Andretti Global.”
