Formula E: Andretti says goodbye to Andre Lotterer

The Andretti team, participating in the Electric Car World Championship, has announced the end of its collaboration with André Lotterer.

Today, the following statement appeared on her social media pages: “We can confirm that Andre Lotterer will not be returning to the team in 2024. We would like to thank him for all his efforts and wish him all the best in his future endeavors.”

The German driver can safely be considered a veteran of motorsport, he turned 41 last autumn and during his career at international level, which spanned almost a quarter of a century, there was probably not a single ring category in which Andre did not. compete – this is touring car racing and racing endurance (“24 hours of Le Mans”, he won three times), and Formula 1, and Formula E.

In the electric series, Lotterer debuted in 2017 as part of the DS Techeetah team, moved to the Porsche works team two years later and played for Andretti last season. His best results were an 8th place in the individual ranking, which he has achieved three years in a row since 2018.

Last season his teammate Jake Dennis won the title, while Lotterer finished the championship in 18th place. Who will be Dennis’ new partner in Andretti has not yet been announced.
