14-year-old karting driver Alexander Bondarev has joined the professional racing academy Williams Racing.

The legendary Williams stable caught the eye of 14-year-old karting driver Alexander Bondarev. Our compatriot signed an agreement with the British and joined their professional racing academy, Williams Racing. The driver partner is the Favbet Foundation.

“I am honored to join the Williams Racing Academy. Williams Racing is one of the most renowned teams in motorsport, bringing together some of the best drivers in the sport. I am delighted to have the opportunity to be a part of this history. Because Five years old when I started karting, I dreamed of Formula 1. I definitely have a long way to go, but this is a huge step. I always knew that being part of the Formula 1 Young Driver Program was very important and I will work hard for fulfill the trust that James and Sven expressed in me,” Alexander shared his impressions.

“We are delighted to announce that Alexander has joined the Williams Racing Academy. He is an important young talent that we have been watching for a long time. At only 14 years old, he already has several outstanding achievements, including winning the FIA-CIK European Championship in 2023 “Alexander has shown great potential at a young age, and we look forward to supporting his development as he continues his karting journey,” Williams Racing sports director Sven Smits commented on the Ukrainian’s contract signing .

Let’s remember that Williams is the legendary independent British Formula 1 team, founded in the 1970s. The team featured many motorsport legends, including Ayrton Senna, Alain Prost, Nigel Mansell, Damon Hill, Alan Jones, Keio Rosberg, Nelson Piquet.

The Williams Racing Academy was established to develop young drivers, with the ultimate goal of breaking into the main Formula 1 team. This is exactly the path followed by a recent graduate of the academy, Logan Sargent, who has already made his debut in “royal race” of this season.
