Ferrari boss Frederic Vasseur expects the team to achieve a high result in the upcoming Singapore Grand Prix.
Frederic Vasseur: “We are going to a circuit that is very different from Monza. The Marina Bay circuit requires high downforce, as well as a well-balanced car with high acceleration performance. All this is necessary to ensure that the racers feel confident on the track, sandwiched between the walls.
Just like on other city circuits, a lot depends on the driver in Singapore. We have been preparing for the simulator phase for a long time and now it is crucial that Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc complete as many laps as possible in practice. This will help them realize the full potential of the SF-23.
We had an exciting race in Monza and achieved a positive result. The team wants to continue this trend in Singapore. Our goal is to earn a lot of points this weekend.”
