Vettel does not rule out a return to Formula 1

German pilot Sebastian Vettel has admitted to a return to Formula 1 in the future, but now he’s not sure he wants to race again.

Vettel retired from F1 at the end of last season and his place at Aston Martin was taken by Spaniard Fernando Alonso.

“I can’t say no because I don’t know the exact answer.” I think if you asked all the riders who have gone and returned, maybe some of them would say no. And some of them, I don’t know, but they all came back in the end, so I can’t rule it out.

Much will likely depend on when this might happen. Obviously, you can’t wait forever, because 36 is not the age where you can say, “Yes, I’ll be back in 10 years.”

Maybe I’ll think about it over time, but it will depend on the challenges ahead of me, and right now I’m not thinking about it.

There are still many years to live, even if you don’t participate in races, you can still do many wonderful things that give you great pleasure,” the German said according to Sky Sports.

Vettel is a four-time world champion with Red Bull (2010-2013) and later also drove for Ferrari.
