On the eve of the British Grand Prix, Aston Martin drivers Sebastian Vettel and Lance Stroll spoke about the characteristics of Silverstone and expectations for next weekend.
Sebastian Vettel: “During my career I have spent many race weekends at Silverstone. I have always been struck by the enthusiasm and appreciation of the British public for the teams and riders – the podium is simply fantastic.
Combining different types of corners should give us a better idea of the key features of the 2022 cars and help the team understand and improve the AMR22.
The weekend at Silverstone is normally quite busy, but I hope we have a good time and score points in front of our home fans.”
Lance Walk: “After racing in Monaco, Baku and Canada I am curious to see how our AMR22 will perform at Silverstone. The team added with each stage because we recognized the car better. We are making real progress. The mid-group battle is incredibly tight, so it will be great if we take another step forward this weekend.
The British Grand Prix is a big event for the whole team and I’m looking forward to riding in front of the fantastic fans at Silverstone.”
